Swimming and snorkeling in the sea, sunbathing on deck and on the beaches of isolated bays, and finding some of those idyllic harbor and seaside villages – it’s all up for grabs on a bareboat charter.
You will, of course, need someone among your party with sufficient experience to skipper the boat. If you can’t provide your own skipper, then SEAMAJOR can provide you with one to go with the charter yacht you choose.

Turkeys Mediterranean climate means mild winters and hot summers. July and August temperatures can rise above 86 degrees and showers are unlikely.
The Mediterranean enjoys 315 cloudless days per year. During the peak of yacht charter season, between April and October, the skies are blue and the waters are warm. In midsummer, yacht charter guests enjoy glorious sunsets and long evenings under gentle winds and still seas.
Language
Turkish is the official language, but English is widely understood in the main tourist areas.
Currency
The local currency is the New Turkish Lira (YTL Yeni Turkish Lira). The Kurus are the coins: 100 Kurus equals 1 YTL. Prices are very good in Turkey, but the exchange rate varies daily and can be dramatic. Dollars and euros are accepted eagerly, so it is advised to use them for large purchases for possible greater discounts. Local currency is recommended for use on smaller items as well as food and drink.
Food
The cuisine in Turkey reflects a meeting point between Asia and Europe. Apart from the traditional shish kebabs and raki, there are amazingly fresh vegetables and good wine available, along with other provisions in the marinas. The biggest yacht charter base in Turkey is Bodrum which boasts the magnificent Knights of Rhodes fortress.
Best Buys
Marmaris is a shoppers paradise, especially for items such as carpets, leather, ceramics and jewelry. For great values, visit the Carsi Market in the Ottoman Castle, home to 200-odd shops and a flea market thats open seven days a week. Netsel Marina is the place to find original designer clothing. Most vendors expect haggling and it is possible to knock about 30 percent off the asking price. However, throughout Marmaris and Turkey, beware of vendors selling fake designer goods.
